Iron fences boost cash factor

If you have a Victorian or period property, a wrought iron fence can make a bold and stunning statement, enhancing your home's street appeal and resale value.
A traditional-style wrought iron fence for a double-fronted property with an 18m frontage is likely to cost you at least $11,000 - even before you've considered gates - but the expense can be worth it.
The cost hasn't stopped more and more homeowners opting for the traditional-style wrought iron fence according to Robert Ausilio, of Samsons Wrought Iron, which fabricates and installs fences.
